What The Disasters We've Already Had Tell Us About The Future Of Climate

A recent caller to the JX took issue with media coverage of the major ongoing story of our time; she thinks "climate crisis" is a more appropriate term than simply "climate change."

The IPCC report out this week (August 9) backs that up, showing profound effects on the climate already.

So it may not be fun, but we take up another discussion of what has happened already, and what is likely to continue to happen, with disaster researcher Samantha Montano.

Memoir combines with analysis in Montano's book Disasterology: Dispatches from the Frontlines of the Climate Crisis.

She makes a case for immediate, aggressive action, and joins us to talk about what that should be.
