U.S. Rep Cliff Bentz: The Drought in the Klamath Basin

Pivot irrigation rigs deliver water when there is some.

"I can't make it rain." With those words, U.S. Rep Cliff Bentz (R-Oregon 2nd District) acknowledged the limits of his or anybody else's power to fundamentally change the water crisis in the Klamath Basin.

Water supplies are drastically low and tensions are high. The entire Klamath Project will get no water this year unless Bentz, and other members of Congress, can convince federal agencies to change their decision.

Rep. Bentz visits to bring us up to date on the water issues.
