A Black/Queer/Feminist Perspective On 'Cancel Culture'

Use the term "cancel culture" in a sentence and watch the faces of the people you're talking to. The concept and the term itself have become hot buttons in society today.

But there are valid reasons for calling people on beliefs they express and actions they take. So what we call "cancel culture" will continue, along with the resentments about its existence and tactics.

Movement mediator adrienne maree brown (who prefers her name without caps) presents a pathway out of the impasse in the book We Will Not Cancel Us: And Other Dreams of Transformative Justice.

The author visits with an overview of a book that is small in stature but huge in possibilities.
