As winter began to melt away, school sports teams in the region returned to the field, after the long pandemic layoff. That led to the unusual sight of high school football being played in February, without fans present.

Some tough decisions have been required of schools and teams, including Southern Oregon University's decision not to play football until the fall.

SOU Athletic Director Matt Sayre fills us in on sports happenings on his campus, while Brent McConaghy at North Medford High School talks about seasons coming in quick succession this spring.

Brent added during our discussion that up to 75 fans of each team will be allowed into football games, starting this week.
