International Women's Day is today (March 8th), and the date is observed with the kickoff of the Zero to Fierce Womxn's Festival in Arcata, the fifth of its kind.
Playhouse Arts is the home base for the weeklong series of events, but "home base" still holds a somewhat different meaning in the midst of the pandemic. So events will be held online, with people from many fields celebrating the power of love, community, and women.
