School Librarians Offer Antidote To Disinformation

Life is grand in the information age, but for that ONE problem: along with all the information available to us, there's also a lot of DISinformation around. Pick your poison; from flat-earthers to voter-fraud conspiracies, there's plenty to go around.

Kate Weber wants to reduce the abundance as much as possible. She's the president of the Oregon Association of School Libraries, promoting the value of libraries and the people who staff them.

Libraries can do wonders to direct young people to the truth rather than the rumor, even while students are not spending much time in school these days. Kate Weber visits the JX to make the case.
