How tight is housing in our region? When NeighborWorks Umpqua announced the opening of applications for Deer Creek Village, a new affordable housing complex in Roseburg, the first people lined up at 6:30 in the morning.

The 68-unit Deer Creek Village is set to open in April, and it's the first major infusion of lower-cost housing into the Roseburg market in a while.

Merten Bangememann-Johnson is the CEO of NWU and Brian Shelton-Kelly runs Acquisitions and Development. They join us for a glimpse of their work and the impact on the housing market.
