How Women Can Drive The Campaign For Universal Healthcare

We keep talking about how women can "have it all," and keep requiring them to make that true. Have it all: make money for the family, tend to the children, take care of aging parents... the list goes on.

Because women make 80% of the healthcare decisions for their families, healthcare expert Rosemarie Day sees them as uniquely positioned to influence the march toward getting all Americans covered by insurance.

Day makes the case in the book Marching Toward Coverage: How Women Can Lead the Fight for Universal Healthcare. We learn the components of her plan in this interview.
