Reconsidering 'Girls On The Edge' In America

Young people struggling with their transition to adulthood is not a new trend. And if anything, it appears to be intensifying.

Leonard Sax, MD and PhD psychologist, wrote a book ten years ago about girls struggling. And since the issue remains, he gave the book a heavy rewrite, and released it anew as Girls on the Edge: Why So Many Girls Are Anxious, Wired, and Obsessed--And What Parents Can Do.

We discuss the fundamentals of the situation--and what has changed over the last decade--with the author.
