September is a lot of things to a lot of people, including Suicide Prevention Month. Between COVID-19 and the fires this month, there's plenty to upset a person.
A bunch of organizations are joining forces to help people steer away from suicide, including the Oregon Health Authority, the Oregon Department of Education, and the nonprofit Lines for Life. Together they are providing a suicide prevention/wellness program for school districts.
Dwight Holton of Lines for Life and Jill Baker from OHA are our guests.
