There is plenty of criticism of violence and vandalism associated with the protests. But organizers say the demonstrations must continue until real change happens.
The Civil Liberties Defense Center in Eugene defends people exercising civil rights--free speech and assembly included--and offers training as well. These include training for activists to help guard against burnout. Current offerings include a weekly webinar, Thursday afternoons at 3 PM Pacific time.
