Oregon EV Drivers Clog The Rebate Pipeline

So many people are buying electric vehicles and seeking Oregon rebates that there's a backlog in getting checks out to EV owners. 

The state recently crossed the $10 Million mark in rebates awarded through the Clean Vehicle Rebate Program.  

The program includes the standard rebate and the newer Charge Ahead rebate, and EV owners can apply for both. 

The state Department of Environmental Quality and the nonprofit Center for Sustainable Energy teamed up for the programs.  Rachel Sakata from DEQ and Charles Taylor at CSE charge into a discussion of the details.
