Hope Rises For Klamath Water Issues

Edward J. O'Neill/National Fish and Wildlife Service

It's been a big month for irrigation in the Klamath Basin.  Not IN the Basin, but in Washington, DC.

First President Trump issued an executive order designed to speed up agency work on water projects, including a joint consultation by two departments on the Klamath Project.  Less than a week later, the president signed a new law also addressing water projects in several states.

The Klamath Water Users Association and the Family Farm Alliance watched both events with great interest.  Scott White of KWUA and Dan Keppen from FFA visit with their groups' perspectives.
