ANPF performance in 2017.

Who would come to see a play with the actors just standing and reading off a script?  Lots of people, it turns out.  Especially if the plays are new works still in development.

The Ashland New Plays Festival presents four plays (twice each) to packed houses every October.

ANPF returns Wednesday, October 17th through Sunday, October 21st, with another slate of plays, plus workshops.  ANPF Development director Jim Pagliasotti and Artistic Director Kyle Haden are scheduled to talk about this year's program.

John Baxter's history at JPR reaches back three decades.  John was the JPR program director who was the architect of "the split" when JPR grew from a single program stream to three separate streams. We coaxed him out of retirement and he's now a co-producer of the Jefferson Exchange.
