Stopping Low-Tech Theft With High-Tech Gadgets

Bicycle-friendly towns often have more of everything connected to bicycles: more bikes, more bike shops, more bike thefts.

It's that last category that causes concern in Ashland.Police notice an upswing in the rate of bike thefts in town, and they have a new tool to help curb the rise. 

A anti-theft device allows a bike owner to track a bike that is wandering away, so owner, bike and police can converge.
