Rogue Retreat Fundraises For Grants Pass Transitional Housing

Rogue Retreat
Hope Village in Medford.

Rogue Retreat is working to make lightning strike again, this time in Grants Pass.  Rogue Retreat had success setting up small houses for homeless people in Medford at Hope Village.

The planned Foundry Village in Grants Pass will use the same model for temporary transitional housing.

Now the heavy lift of fundraising is underway, and that includes a benefit concert on Saturday (March 7th) of world music featuring Liberian drummer and singer Lasana Kanneh, who performs as IJenNeh.  Janet O'Donovan, musician, conductor, and concert organizer, visits with an overview of the concert.

Lasana Kanneh joins us as well, as does Matthew Vorderstrasse, Rogue Retreat's Development Director.  We cover specifics of Foundry Village and the fundraising efforts.
