On Friday at Noon, JPR welcomes Dylan Leblanc back into our new studio with his full band for a JPR Live Session presented by Sierra Nevada Brewing Company.
Over the course of three critically acclaimed albums, and the occasionally bumpy road in between, Dylan LeBlanc has embraced, perfected, and abandoned, more than one approach to making a go of it as a working musician. On his newest offering Renegade - his first since 2016 - he's added a shot of gasoline to the slow simmer of his previous effort Cautionary Tale.
This is Leblanc's legitimate rock record - one he tried to model after the classic Rumours of Fleetwood Mac, enlisting the help of producer extraordinare Dave Cobb to realize his vision. Along with his backing band The Pollies, Leblanc has conjured up a collection of stories about the people he knew growing up in New Orleans, and pits them against a background of driving guitars.
Tune in Friday at Noon for a JPR Live Session with Dylan Leblanc on JPR's Rhythm & News Service. To listen online, click the "Listen Live" link at the top of the page and select "Rhythm & News."
