JPR Live Session: Larkin Poe

Ways To Subscribe

Rebecca and Megan Lovell have come a very long way since their days in The Lovell Sisters - the bluegrass/roots band they performed in with their sister Jessica. As Larkin Poe (the band name is a nod to one of their ancestors), the sisters have continued to grow and expand their sound into the world of blues and blues rock.

Now with a Grammy nomination and a #1 album on the Billboard blues charts to their name, Larkin Poe has just released Self Made Man, a collection of sizzling blues rock to follow up 2018's chart-topping Venom & Faith.

Released on their own Tricki-Woo records, Self Made Man was the precursor to their first ever tour bus-sized tour. With all touring on hiatus, the sisters have wholeheartedly embraced social media for a series of intimate live-at-home performances.

They joined us remotely from Nashville to share some great duo versions of songs from the new record.

As FM Network Program Director and Music Director, Eric oversees many aspects of JPR's broadcast day. He still hosts the occasional Open Air or classical music shift, and is the driving force behind JPR Live Sessions - our popular series of live in-studio music performances and conversations.
