Tom Killion: Northcoast Relief Prints Exhibit

Tom Killion: Northcoast Relief Prints Exhibit

The Mendocino Art Center features Tom Killion’s Japanese-style woodcut prints in his exhibit, “Northcoast Relief Prints.” Most of the prints in this exhibit explore the coastal landscape, along with a few others of the more distant mountains that feed the rivers running into San Francisco Bay.

In collaboration with the Mendocino Film Festival, Tom will host a talk about his recent work on Trees of California and bring a complete set of woodblocks and progressive proofs to explicate his technique of making a multi-color woodblock print, Sunday, June 5, 11:30am.

Join us for free Second Saturday Gallery Reception, June 11, 4pm-7pm, and meet Tom and the artists of the concurrent exhibit, “We Are Still Here,” Bonnie Lockhart, Meyo Marrufo and Eric Wilder, and attend their artist talk, “Exploring Our Culture Through Art,” 5pm-6pm.
