The Oregon Honey & Mead Festival

The Oregon Honey & Mead Festival

The Oregon Honey and Mead Festival 2022 brings people together for tasting and learning experiences focused on honey, mead, bees, hive products, environment and agriculture. This year we have invited vendors to bring their bee and honey-themed wares as well. This year’s location is Vogel Plaza and the Craterian Theater.

OHU’s Dr. Andony Melathopoulos will be on hand to talk about the lives of native bees. The title of the talk will be: "Take a Walk on the Wild Side: Oregon's Weird and Wonderful Native Bees".

Lilly Weichberger, Oran Mor Artisan Meadery will also be on hand to talk about mead making.

Mead tasting is limited to adults. Alcohol consumption is limited to the Lobby area of the Theater.

Music will be provided by the Jen Ambrose Duo, Wilderlands and the Robbie DaCosta Trio.

COVID Policy: The event organizers have asked guests comply with any public health mandates that are in effect at that time.

If you need additional assistance please call the box office at 541-779-3000.
