New C&N Series - Center Stage From Wolf Trap

Beginning Sunday evening, July 6th at 7pm, JPR's Classics & News Service will broadcast Center Stage from Wolf Trap, a 26-week series of live performances from The Discovery Series of some of today's finest chamber musicians.

Recorded in the acoustically superb Barns at Wolf Trap, this 26 week series of one-hour programs include unscripted and spontaneous conversation with hosts Bill McLaughlin and Rich Kleinfeldt.  The Barns, a year-round facility hailed as "one of the best places to hear music in Washington," has become one of the D.C. area's premier venues. Consisting of two rebuilt 18th century barns, the venue serves as a theater, a concert setting for The Discovery Series, and the home to the Wolf Trap Opera.

Tune in Sunday evening, July 6th, following the conclusion of the series Music from Bowling Green, to hear these magnificent chamber music performances on Center Stage from Wolf Trap.

As FM Network Program Director and Music Director, Eric oversees many aspects of JPR's broadcast day. He still hosts the occasional Open Air or classical music shift, and is the driving force behind JPR Live Sessions - our popular series of live in-studio music performances and conversations.
