Penguin at 75

What's black and white and read all over?  Spreading literature in affordable paperback form was the founding mission of Penguin Books.  Now, the iconic publisher celebrates its 75th anniversary with a nationwide tour of bookstores, libraries and other venues, including Ashland's Tudor Guild Gift Shop, where the publisher's Diamond Anniversary coincides with that of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival.  Penguin-ophile Howard Wall joins the Exchange to talk about the imprint's lauded history, its efforts to take literature to new places, and the art of the word.
