It's hot and dry and even windy in much of the region.  Plus, there are thunderstorms in the forecast, so the National Weather Service put a Red Flag Warning in place for Southern Oregon and other parts of the state through Wednesday evening.  Fires were already burning in parts of both Oregon and California by Tuesday morning.  We'll visit with fire bosses at both the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection and the Oregon Department of Forestry.
