Keepers of the Trees

They offer us shade, clean our air, and offer up raw materials to build our houses, yet trees are generally taken for granted. But not by everyone.  Across the country, hundreds of people work to save forests, propagate urban arbors, and fight invasive insects that threaten the nations trees.  In "Keepers of the Trees: A Guide to Re-Greening North America", author Ann Linnea profiles fourteen such "keepers" and brings to life stories of individuals dedicated to saving America's trees.
