The Washington Post published on Sunday and today excerpts from the new book, "Angler: The Cheney Vice Presidency."
That book offers an insider's view of the real conspiracy by the vice president and his lawyer to flout the law and bully the Justice Department in an effort to force-feed its domestic spying program while the Justice Department looked the other way. If it were not for ONE GUY who initiated the effort and shored up the courage of others to stand up to Cheney and his lawyer, the Bush administration would have gone further than the Nixon administration in its abuse of power, so says the author of the book. And the picture he painted using actual conversations and events suggests the author is right.
As it turns out, a literary barrage of books this year have opened a Pandora's Box on the Bush administration that shows clearly the American public has been duped time and again by conspiracy the media has ignored. In other words, the so-called "conspiracy theorists" have been right more often than wrong. And the national media has been complicit in promoting the propaganda of the Pentagon and the Bush administration, only to find out after the fact that it got it all wrong.
Still, the label, "Conspiracy Theorist" is one used to deride an individual who may very well turn out to be the only one who got it right. Yet, the constant derision of such individuals and the failure to take into account the lies and obfuscations of those accused continually lead us back down the road to hindsight, while the Conspiracy Theorist is keeping his eyes open to see what's happening at the time in question and down the road.
Ask your guest if he thinks there ever is such a thing as true conspiracy that takes place in the highest echelon of our government. And if so, how do we root it out if we are determined to dismiss those who ask questions when the rest of us are content to accept plausible denials made by those accused?

Who has the power to make them disappear? In whose interest is it FOR these tapes to disappear? Conspiracy? Work back from the FACTS.

I like the point made by Coffeeblack. The FACTS are paramount to the COnspiracy Theorist. The ACCESS to those facts are typically controlled by those seeking to obfuscate, avoid and deter interest in those facts, thus leading to conspiracy theory. OPENNESS and HONESTY lead to TRANSPARENCY, which inturn, reduces, if not eliminates the need for conspiracy theory.
LIES and OBFUSCATIONS tend to ramp up the interests of truth-seekers. Unfortunately, America media is sorely lacking in truth-seeking journalists.

FDR/Churchill plot on Pearl Harbour; The Roswell UFO incident; The assassination of President Kennedy; Big foot; Elections stolen by the Republicans in 2000 and 2004; Bush involvement with Twin Towers on 9/11; The Iraq war for oil etc. etc I could go on and on.
Robert Goldberg writes a book that actually disputes the veracity of these truths and JPR has the audacity to have him on the Jefferson Exchange. What are you doing?
I would like to know who this fellow Goldberg really is and why he wrote this book, and what is the sinister secret group that finances him?
Furthermore Keith Henty and Jessica are obviously part of this dastardly scheme to spread lies and confusion.
I want the exchange to be taken over by the two smartest members of the audience who have repeatedly demonstrated their wisdom.
Lets have Grumpy John and Lucretia become co-hosts, we can then all become enlightened about chem-trails, extra terrestrials yada yada.
Keith is obviously working in cahoots with the vast right wing conspiracy. I wouldn't be surprised if he wasn't recruited by James Adams - you really can't trust "limeys".

The building was a crime scene. It was summarily demolished, destroying forensic evidence - - that is called "destruction of evidence."
The physics of "a truck full of explosive" parked in the street out front do not work. Couldn't have happened that way.

( Any more than those unburned papers visible in the photographs of the open offices in the Pentagon "airliner crash site" could have withstood the heat that melted massive steel colums in that Other "airliner crash site."
Although to be fair, they DID pick up that "hijacker's" undamaged passport in the rubble of the WTC.)
Ahh, but maybe I'm stuck in that old Pre-Republican "old math" style physics. - - yeah That's the ticket.
No need accounting for those bothersome little contradictions; "Act of God" and all that, eh wot???
