Concerning the advantages of apple products. There are people who are writing programs for the iphone. But, I just heard that people who want to distribute these new programs, have to send them to Steve Jobs for review and approval. If there is something he doesn't want, it gets KILLED.

Under the Windows Platform. Anyone, can create and distribute software freely.

As a side note to the reason why people redo their Windows installation. If we did not have a bunch of yahoos taking advantage of the Internet to spread their adware, spyware, viruses, etc. Windows would run just fine for years and years. In fact, my system has only been redone when I move up to a larger hard drive.

The guest says that Microsoft did not focus on the users like mac did. but instead focused on security. well when you have 90% plus of the market, you become a target. so if mac is so popular, why are they still so far behind?

It seems to me that Apple is a company that exists due to a following of mutually affirming fanatics vs Microsoft as a company that exists due to marketing gullibility of independent consumers.

The Caligraphy teacher at the time finally quit teaching Calligraphy at Reed College because the students were not serious enough for her.
