| The JPR Community Calendar is an easy way to spread the word about community events taking place in Southern Oregon and Northern California. Event information posted by qualified non-profit organizations will be used by JPR to create on-air public service announcements. There's no need to send a written press release! All event information will become "live" on the calendar after being approved by JPR (usually within 48 hours). These classes provide an introductory level of information for beginning and intermediate woodworkers and for experienced woodworkers an opportunity to network with local woodworkers. Instructors will lecture and demonstrate basic woodworking tools and techniques. The series of ten classes are offered for $125. Classes are scheduled to begin February 10 and will run for ten weeks. Classes are held at various workshops in the Rogue Valley. Interested parties can register for the Insight Into Woodworking classes on the SWG website WWW.Siskiyouguild.org or contact Dan Fischer at 541 821-1764. The Insight Into Woodworking classes offer woodworking enthusiasts the opportunity to interact with professional woodworkers, see their shops, set-ups, works-in-progress, and learn the tricks of the trade. They are also a good way to meet fellow woodworkers for association and guidance.
