Apple's Steve Jobs Explains Weight Loss

Over the past year, the gaunt appearance of Apple founder Steve Jobs has alarmed many Mac and iPod lovers. Late Monday, three Israeli soldiers were killed by what Israeli officials say was an errant tank round. An international diplomatic effort to bring about a ceasefire is making no progress.

Bush To Announce Three Marine Monuments

Parts of three remote and uninhabited Pacific island chains are being set aside by President Bush as national monuments. The preserves will be protected from oil and gas extraction and commercial fishing in what will be the largest marine conservation effort in history.
